Intelligent Auto Mode: helping you take great photos every time
When you are not sure which mode will provide you the best shooting results, or when a sudden photo opportunity pops up and you don't have time to make any settings, simply choose iA (Intelligent Auto) mode and let your Lumix camera do it all for you!
Four Feature iA Mode
Depending on your Lumix model, iA Mode uses up to either four or six separate technologies working together to provide the best possible shooting results every time. The four feature iA Mode, combines the following features:
Mega O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilizer) -- Gyrosensors detect hand-shake and the lens system shifts to compensate, helping to prevent hand-shake from creating a blurry image.
Intelligent ISO Control -- With Intelligent ISO Control, your Lumix camera can adjust the ISO sensitivity if the subject moves as the shot is taken thereby preventing blurriness of the photo.
Face Detection AF/AE -- The Face Detection AF/AE function can find up to 15 faces in the frame and adjusts the focus and exposure to capture them clearly and in sharp focus.
Intelligent Scene Selector – The Intelligent Scene Selector automatically selects whichever of five scene modes - Macro, Portrait, Scenery, Night Portrait, and Night Scenery – best suits your shooting situation.
Six Feature iA Mode
The six feature iA mode uses additionally to the functions above, the following two technologies to deliver even better photographic results:
Intelligent Exposure -- No more under- or over-exposed shots! Intelligent Exposure corrects the parts of the image that are too dark or too bright, so images come out as you see them.
Digital Red Eye Correction -- Avoid the red eye you get when taking flash shots at night! Thanks to Digital Red Eye Correction red eye problems will be automatically detected and corrected.
