Panasonic announces a new addition to its range of HD ready LCD’s,
the TX-26LXD80, combining high quality images with operating ease.
This LCD features Panasonic’s V-Real 3 picture technology, which perfectly optimises the performance of the display panel to render smooth, crystal clear motion without compromising on delicate colours with rich gradation and boasts a high contrast ratio of 8,000:1.
The TX-26LXD80’s wide-ranging colour reproduction lends rich expression to movie colours, whilst the high contrast ratios create deep, life-like blacks. Picture quality at this level really stirs the emotions and adds to the excitement of watching athletes in heated competition, breathtaking multi-coloured sunsets, or vibrantly colourful resorts and other landscapes.
Picture quality is enhanced further through the Advanced 3D Colour Management system, ensuring that colour, brightness and luminosity are independently detected to produce amazing quality in each. This fine degree of control helps to produce truly expressive images with colours that are beautifully reproduced with exceptional vibrancy. This finer level of control enables the TX-26LXD80 to adjust multiple colours at the same time without affecting neighbouring colours. By independently adjusting the colour hue, density and brightness, it brings out the full beauty and richness of every image without compromise. Designed with users in mind, these models offer easy operation made possible by Viera Link and the SD card slot. Viera Link lets you operate other connected compatible Panasonic AV components using only the Viera TV's remote control unit. The TX-26LXD80 also comes with a slot for large-capacity SDHC cards. Simply remove the SD memory card from your digital still camera, slip it in the slot, and you can view a slideshow of your photos on a beautiful screen.
The TX-26LXD80 incorporates “Eco Mode,” utilising a photo sensor to measure the ambient light conditions in the room and adjusts the panel brightness accordingly - helping to minimise power consumption.
This set comes with integrated Freeview Tuner and three HDMI ports to connect all your AV equipment, such as a Blu-ray disc player with 24p playback. This stylish Viera HD ready LCD comes in a glossy black finish and will be available from September.
