Worldwide Olympic Partner - Sharing the Passion

Panasonic is proud to support the Olympic Movement which aims to promote world peace through sports. Panasonic has been an Official Worldwide Olympic Partner in the Audio and Visual Equipment category for more than 20 years, ever since The Olympic Partner (TOP) Program was introduced at the Calgary Olympic Winter Games in 1988. Under the slogan "Sharing the Passion," Panasonic contributes to the success of the Olympic Games through our technology and video expertise. In 2007 Panasonic renewed the partnership with the International Olympic Committee through to the Summer Olympic Games to be held in 2016. As a part of this worldwide partnership, Panasonic UK works directly with some of the British Olympic Team to help them develop the stars of today and the future here in the UK.

What is the Olympic Partner Program?

TOP Sponsors are integral members of The Olympic Partner (TOP) Program managed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). TOP sponsors have the privilege of supporting both the Summer and Olympic Winter Games for the entire four-year period. There are currently 9 participating companies, including Panasonic, that are TOP sponsors for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
