Speed Camera Updates

Watch your speed and drive safely thanks to Panasonic's Safety Camera warning. Use our latest fixed safety camera database free of charge in any of our supported European countries.* The service, including quarterly updates, is free of charge and includes not only speed cameras, but also traffic light cameras. To make it even easier, there is no need for any subscription or payment.

The Panasonic Safety Cameras service is currently available in: Andorra, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Netherland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
(Please note that this Panasonic service is not available in Austria, Germany and Switzerland due to legal Reasons)

*To preload your first Safety Camera data please refer to the DVD installer inside the CN-GP50N box, and transfer it to your PND, either via mini USB cable or via SD card. In order to keep up-to-date with the latest European safety camera database.

Software Updates

As a Member of Club Strada we will notify you when software updates for your Strada Sat Nav device become available. We will make occassional software upgrades available via download from the website.

Active Sync is a free program from Microsoft that will allow you to upload data directly to your Strada unit using the USB cable. This can be used to update the Map, Speed camera information and system software. Please ensure to follow the instalation procedures outlined on the Microsoft website before connecting your Strada unit to the computer. Once the Activesync software is installed onto the computer you can connect the Strada to the computer via USB.

Using the Disc provided with the unit you are then able to reload Map data and Install the speed camera information to your Strada unit. The built in menu on the DVD-ROM will guide you through this process Step by Step.

Map Updates

By Signing Up to Club Strada we will send you details of map updates as they are released as well as special offers we will run from time to time. Map updates will be available twice a year. The maps will be available for purchase from our Eshop shortly and will be provided via a DVD ROM.

Bluetooth Compatibility with Mobile phones

Panasonic Portable Navigation allows you to safely make Hands-free phone calls by simply connecting your mobile device as per CN-GP50N Instruction manual. Don't worry, simply connect your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone to your Strada and enjoy hands-free calling, direct calls to POI's & Direct Transfer of your address book from your mobile phone (the phone must support the OPP standard). Address book transfer is both from the SIM and from the phone hardware memory onto your Strada so that you can easily manage your contact names on the 5 inch extra large touch panel.
