FETCH TV
From the video side, VIERA Connect sees the addition of two new applications. One of these is FETCH TV (IP Vision) which offers consumers on-demand access to a wealth of movies from major studios, as well as a range of specialist TV channels covering everything from documentaries to concerts and kids’ programmes. VIERA Connect is the first TV to offer the FETCH TV application.

The second video related addition is Vimeo, a video-sharing website where users can upload, share, and view videos. This new service to Panasonic’s VIERA Connect is a great way for users to join a community of individuals with a wide range of video interests.

iConcerts
A further new application, catering for the music enthusiasts is iConcerts, a pioneering cross-media entertainment channel dedicated to live music. iConcerts features the world's largest library of live music concerts, TV shows and documentaries.

iFit.com
The iFit app has also joined VIERA Connect – enabling users to keep their iFit.com profile up to date and on track. The popular iFit.com is the fitness website that customises fitness plans for users and downloads to their fitness equipment.

Social Networking TV
A new social networking application is also added to Panasonic’s services. Social Networking TV, which allows viewers to watch TV while interacting with friends and families on Facebook and Twitter.

6 new gaming applications* have joined VIERA Connect; Black Jack Royale, ZapTap, Moggles, Cosmox, Brain Trainer and PlayJam Gaming. Catering for a broad spectrum of users, these new additions join a wealth of gaming applications already available on VIERA Connect.

*All 6 gaming applications require payment for use.

In addition to these new applications, VIERA Connect has two further updates to its services. BBC Big Screen News, bringing trusted world and UK news as well as local and regional perspectives, has now been updated to high definition resolution. The second update is Nova.cz, the popular catch-up TV application which has been renamed Voyo. Available on VIERA Connect, users can access sport and music events and live streaming.

These new service are available now on Panasonic’s 2011 line-up of VIERA TVs** . iConcerts and Bharat Matrimony are also available on Panasonic’s 2010 VIERA TVs. The introduction of 12 new applications simultaneously is testament to Panasonic’s commitment to continuing to expand its IPTV services and to creating a more exciting television experience for viewers.
