Panasonic’s new ecohikari range of microwaves receive four Which? Best Buy awards
Panasonic is delighted to announce that they have recently been awarded four further Best Buy awards by Which? Magazine for their new range of ecohikari microwave ovens. Appearing online at www.which.co.uk in December, the models that received the coveted award were the NN-GD371S, NN-SD271S, NN-SD261M and NN-SD251W. The new ecohikari range of microwaves are an innovative addition to Panasonic’s already impressive portfolio of award-winning microwave ovens.
Deriving their name from the Japanese word for light, the new ecohikari range features some really bright ideas. The range features Panasonic’s unique Inverter Technology which offers a lighter weight product and reduced power consumption to deliver a faster, balanced cooking performance. Also high in efficiency, Panasonic’s new LED light technology provides 157% more brightness than previous models.
Thanks to the enhanced Inverter Technology, all models in the ecohikari range scored top marks from Which? on energy use, speed of heating, auto defrost and evenness of heating.
The NN-SD271S, (and colour variants NN-SD261M and NN-SD251W) also received a great score of 71% based upon its ‘host of useful features’ and ‘great all-round performance’. Which? commented on the quick and even reheating so consumers can ensure food is cooked all the way through. All of these excellent features combined meant Which? “had no hesitation in making it a Best Buy”.
The Which? Best Buy status is only awarded to the very best products that achieve the highest results after the rigorous comparative testing. Consumers rely on the results published by Which? to make informed choices when purchasing new products.
