Panasonic is pleased to announce that for the second year in a row, it has been rated as the most reliable camera manufacturer by Which? members.
If this wasn’t enough, Panasonic’s digital camcorders have also been voted as the most reliable – making Panasonic’s imaging products the most reliable in the market.
Which?, the UK’s leading independent consumer magazine, asked readers to rate the reliability of audio visual products as part of a comprehensive report on brand reliability. Against fierce competition, Panasonic was voted the clear winner, with a remarkable 97% overall reliability for digital cameras, and the top mark of 94% for camcorders.
In terms of customer satisfaction, Panasonic camcorders are one of the top two brands, while the survey reveals that Panasonic cameras offer the best customer satisfaction – well ahead of its closest competitor. Rated as the most reliable camera brand, and offering the highest customer satisfaction – Panasonic’s Lumix range of cameras are a highly commendable proposition.
Not surprisingly then, Panasonic has been named as ‘the most consistently reliable brand’ – also achieving the top in reliability for Digital Radios and Widescreen TVs. With the most number of Which? Best Buys than any other manufacturer over the last 12 months, Panasonic has also won the Which? Award for best audio visual brand - for the second year in a row!
Reliability and customer satisfaction are critical elements in the imaging market – the assurance that those special, spontaneous moments can be captured. Mark Robinson, Product Manager Lumix, said “We are delighted with the results of the Which? report – not only to retain the accolade we received last year, but to receive additional recognition demonstrates our commitment to the imaging market.” Barney Sykes, Product Manager Camcorder, continues, “We are proud to produce reliable, award winning models that enhance people’s lives”.
In October 2007, Panasonic announced its ‛eco ideas’ strategy to accelerate its activities and realize the business vision “Coexistence with the global environment.” With ‛eco ideas’, we promise to promote three key initiatives for environmental protection, which further underline our commitment towards our customers and society as a whole.
