As the summer fast approaches, thoughts turn to days out at some of the top family attractions across the UK. Panasonic understands how important it is to capture the perfect memory so will be offering a great opportunity to visitors. This summer, Panasonic will be visiting five well know locations with a team of product specialists and the brand new Lumix DMC-G2, a new-generation system camera that gives you stunning images and superb HD movies.

Photography Competition

Panasonic would like to invite visitors to borrow a brand new Lumix DMC-G2 camera and to enjoy capturing stills and HD video footage of their family day out.

Partnering with The Telegraph, guests will be able to enter their best photographs into a nationwide photography competition to win one of number of prizes.

The Lumix G2 provides D-SLR quality in a remarkably light & small design; ideal for carrying around. With one touch of a dedicated Intelligent Auto button, the camera activates shooting assist functions which unleash the full power of the G2 automatically; leaving the user to enjoy taking great pictures and recording HD movies with ease. The Lumix G2 is the world’s first interchangeable lens system camera with touch-control shooting*, this innovative functionality provides a new level of usability and features, such as touch-controlled autofocus.

With lots to see and do at each location visitors will want to capture moving as well as still images; the G2 can shoot 720p video, in AVCHDLite format, with the help of the dedicated movie button. By selecting the motion picture programmable mode you can change the aperture for more creative HD movie recording.

Each visitor to the stand will have the opportunity to speak to the Panasonic team with their imaging questions and book one of the free loan products to take with them. With both school holidays, and Father’s Day on Sunday 20th June, there are plenty of photo opportunities and Panasonic are proud to be on hand to make sure every moment is captured.
