New VIERA LCD Line-Up

Panasonic will continue to demonstrate its commitment in LCD with its expanded VIERA LCD model offerings.

This year’s VIERA LCD models feature an IPS Alpha panel with a large aperture ratio. This advanced panel provides clear moving pictures, high contrast, and a wide colour viewing angle. Many of the new VIERA LCD models provide 800 lines of moving-picture resolution thanks to Panasonic's 100Hz Intelligent Frame Creation technology. Boasting an exceptional motion image sensing capability, this function precisely detects and analyses vertical, horizontal and diagonal movements, then creates accurate new intermediate frames. The result is clear, razor-sharp motion-image playback with minimal blurring.

V10 Series
In picture quality, the V10 Series stands at the top of the 2009 VIERA LCD product line with its great picture quality thanks to Panasonic's 100Hz Intelligent Frame Creation technology. The V10 Series has a slim design and comes with a host of networking functions, including VIERA CAST, VIERA Image Viewer, VIERA Link, and DLNA. The V10 LCD series will be available in two sizes: 32” (TX-L32V10), and 37” (TX-L37V10).

G15 Series
The G15 Series combines enhanced networking and image-quality functions. With VIERA CAST, users can easily view Internet content from sources such as Eurosport and YouTube. The VIERA Image Viewer makes it easy to play back still and motion images from a digital camera or camcorder, and DLNA makes it possible to play back still and motion images stored on devices connected over a network. Thanks to the beautiful, high-contrast motion images achieved by the IPS Alpha panel, the G15 series is well suited to users who want both superb picture quality and a wide range of entertainment possibilities. The G15 LCD series will be available in one size: 37” (TX-L37G15).

G10 Series
With the advanced IPS Alpha panels, the G10 LCD series models deliver breathtaking images with 800 line resolution, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast and a wide colour viewing angle. In terms of networking, G10 models offer VIERA Link and the VIERA Image Viewer, giving viewers easy new ways to enjoy beautiful pictures. Two LCD models will be available: 32” (TX-L32G10) and 37” (TX-L37G10).

S10 Series
The S Series offers entry-level models that make it easy to enjoy stunning images in full high-definition. The S10 models deliver beautiful images with a wide colour viewing angle and high 50,000:1 dynamic contrast with Intelligent Scene Controller. All models feature VIERA Image Viewer, and VIERA Link. These simple, full-HD models offer everything a viewer needs to enjoy superb, high-image-quality TV entertainment. Three LCD models will be available: 32” (TX-L32S10), 37” (TX-L37S10), and 42” (TX-L42S10).

X15/X10 Series
The X15 Series LCD models use Panasonic's 100Hz Intelligent Frame Creation technology to achieve razor-sharp motion-picture playback. The X10 Series features a new 19-inch model – ideal for viewers who want outstanding picture quality in a smaller size television. One LCD model will be available in the X15 Series: 32” (TX-L32X15). Three LCD models will be available in the X10 Series: 19” (TX-L19X10), 26” (TX-L26X10) and 32” (TX-L32X10).

C10 Series
The C10 Series LCD models features VIERA Image Viewer, VIERA Link and a wide viewing angle. The models also feature eco mode which reduces power consumption automatically adjusting the screen luminance according to room brightness and other viewing conditions. Two LCD models will be available: 26” (TX-L26C10) and 32” (TX-L32C10).
