Long Recording Time up to 135 Minutes(2)
Thanks the low power consumption of 2.5 W, the TM40 and SD40 can record continuously for up to 135 minutes. This allows the user to continue recording without worrying about the remaining battery power. It's especially convenient and reassuring when it's difficult to charge the battery, such as on a trip or in outdoor shooting.

Optical POWER O.I.S Assures Blur Free Images
The iA (Intelligent Auto) function, which was highly popular on previous models, is included, making it easy for anyone to take beautiful videos. Consisting of four functions, POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), Intelligent Scene Selector, Face Detection and Intelligent Contrast Control., the camcorder automatically selects the most suitable shooting mode at the press of a button.

Panasonic’s POWER O.I.S. employs approximately five times the corrective power of conventional systems to effectively suppress blurring from low-frequency vibration, which was previously difficult to achieve. The addition of Active mode, which minimizes the blurring and lets users shoot while walking, brings crisp, clear images to virtually all shooting styles, from wide-angle to zoom shots.

Intelligent Scene Selector detects the situation and switches the scene mode automatically while Face Detection captures faces beautifully even in dim or backlit scenes. By using the iA functionality the user is able to capture beautiful, optimized images quickly and easily.

With a multitude of features encompassed within a slim, sleek and lightweight body design – Panasonic’s new high definition range of camcorders are a strong proposition. Offering superb image quality and tantalizing good looks, you can enjoy beautiful full-HD images anytime, anywhere. The new models will be available from February 2011.

・ The functions included in iA may not be applied when conditions do not call for them.
・ Not available in still picture recording mode.
