HC-V10 CAMCORDER I looked forward to my new cam,and hoped it would be far better than my old panasonic NV-DS30, but i am disapointed, the clips when played back are not as sharp as i had hoped,the night shoot is far darker,and it does not feel as robust as i would like,I needed the optical and digital zoom for long distance,stars, moon,aircraft,but will not be getting very pleasing results. Also there seems to be a rattle in the middle of the interior for some reason?. I did some research and looked at other reviews,but thought being panasonic, they maybe exaggerating about there faults,but maybe not now ..... 20 February 2013
Great little camera Just converting from a mini DVtape camera with a 'proper' viewfinder so finding the LCD screen difficult to see in the outdoors, but they're all like that now. Terrific zoom and picture quality, recognised a face from such a distance it was difficult to see the whole person by eye alone. VW-VBL090 battery supplied gave less than an hour filming so really compelled to buy extra capacity one. Fairly intuitive in use but worth studying the booklet prior to serious work. All in all a good value little camera. 15 December 2012
