The Panasonic combination of one-box DVD players and amplifiers with matching sets of high-performance 5.1 channel speakers have set the pace in the industry by delivering outstanding picture and sound performance. The latest range of Home Cinema systems build upon this impressive heritage and also add a variety of new and innovative features:

Perhaps the most innovative new product is the SC-PTX7 which introduces a completely new concept for DVD Home Cinema systems. The SC-PTX7 features an internal hard drive that can store up to 39,000 songs. Record tracks from CDs, MP3 and WMA files from your computer, FM & AM radio and other sources. When you are recording, the song title and artist name can be retrieved automatically using the CDDB (CD Database) system or MusicID system (which identifies the music by its waveform) stored inside the hard disc, or downloaded by connecting to the Gracenote data server over a LAN network. You can stream your favourite music from your computer to the SC-PTX7 via Bluetooth® to enjoy the great sound of a HiFi system. You can also receive music from a mobile phone that is equipped with compatible Bluetooth® technology. With the SC-PTX7 you have your music at your fingertips.
Music Shuffle
The Music Shuffle function makes it easy to manage and play a large number of music titles. Select either Energetic, Relaxing, Mellow or Emotional according to your preference. The Music Shuffle will automatically find and playback songs in the category in which you have selected. This is made possible by analysing the characteristics of the music such as tempo and beat by the Music Shuffle while the recording is taking place, and then classifying the song accordingly. This is an entirely new and convenient way to enjoy music.
Twin Centre Speaker Concept & Dolby Virtual Speaker
The SC-PX7 features the Panasonic Twin Centre Speaker Concept, which integrates the centre speaker into the right and left speakers. Thanks to this technology, the dialogue seems to come directly from the screen, resulting in a sound that is crisp, clear and easy to understand. The SC-PX7 also features a Dolby Virtual Speaker function that creates a 5.1-channel surround effect from just two speakers. This combination of the Twin Centre Speaker Concept and Dolby Virtual Speaker provides you with an attractive home cinema that delivers a high-quality sound and a lifelike surround effect.
