For example, you can install a special app on your smartphone and use it to access a DLNA-certified PC via a Wi-Fi router in another room. The DIGA recorder and PC work as a DLNA server where your collection of movies, photos and videos is stored. *WMA and WMV playback only via DLNA, from a Windows 7 or later PC.

After starting the player, the time it takes from launching the menu to playing a disc is much shorter than in conventional models. Starting and loading the disc from standby is also quick, for more comfortable movie viewing.

The 2012 Blu-ray Disc™ Player is compatible with NTFS (NT File System) format external hard disk drives, so you can enjoy music (FLAC, MP3), photos (JPEG), and camcorder video content (AVCHD, MP4) archived on an external HDD.
