Superb (BUT NOT THE REMOTE) Only Had this Player a few days, Well Built and Picture Quality Excellent, BUT The Remote Is Ridiculously Over Complex, Yes the Touch Pad Works well, But too many actions to get to the on screen buttons for simply Start / Stop / Foreward & Rewind. ie Press a Single Button on Remote to Bring up all the Basic stop/start etc Control Buttons on Tv Screen, Then use Touch pad on controller to move Curser on Tv Screen to the Correct Button To Press Then Tap The Touch Pad to Execute. So If you want to Suddenly stop or rewind or fast foreward at a Particular Section by the time you get to Pressing the Button That moment has Been Passed By. Why Could not the Direct Buttons be on the controller, so One Simple Press, and then the Touch Pad be used for more Hidden Functions. (Question to Panasonic Do you have another Remote That works this DVD Player with more than Minimal Controllability. for Which can be Purchased. Note Tv is not Panasonic.) 13 May 2013
A good purchase Just bought it yesterday. Set up seemed very easy. Transmission quality to TV excellent. 06 May 2013
Great 3D Picture I purchased this Blu-Ray player to accompany my new 3D WT50 tv and I have to say, the picture quality is amazing. I had no problems using the remote, it just takes a bit of getting used to (took me a day). As soon as I set it up, it found my wireless network, i popped in the password and hay presto, connected straingt away. This player is also great looking and I love the design. The build quality is also top notch And no, i don't work for Panasonic. 18 January 2013
Terrific! Was an early adopter of Blu-Ray. Having bought this piece of kit (paired with Panasonic 42 in Smart Viera TV), I am astonished at how the technology has advanced, and the price gone down. Picture, sound and interface are all great. The BDP certainly merits pairing with a decent HD TV and good amp though. Optical output is fine, though iI find these cables and sockets a little flimsy - would have preferred a co-axial socket - however, a very minor gripe. it's otherwise great. Hard to see how a more expensive BDP could be significantly better! 01 December 2012
