Our First Blue Ray DVD Recorder/Player
We find this DVD player Recorder excelent to use also it has two hard drives to record two programs at once. Also you can watch another program on the TV as well which is better than my old freeview box.

GREAT LITTLE PLAYER
I love this Blue Ray Player. It is so easy to use, and the menu is very user-friendly. If I had one little gripe, it would be that it doesn't recognise my RAM discs which I always used on my other Panasonic DVD recorder.

Wonderful picture
Although we have only had this two months, it has fulfilled all our recording needs. Still getting to grips with the 'Smart' side of things and the only reason I have given only 4 stars is that the only catch-up app is the BBC iplayer. The other stations do not appear. Which means I have to use my laptop. The picture quality is stunning and at times, one is hard pressed to tell the difference between HD and standard.
I would highly recommend this product, well done Panasonic!

Sensible upgrade from DVD Recorder
Although I don't have much trouble adapting to the varying ways in which different companies' equipment operates, when it came to upgading my video recorder I decided to stick with what I knew. I have not been disappointed. The BWT 720 has a cosmetically different interface to my trusty EX 769, but the menus are laid out in much the same way, with some understandable extras for the additional functions. Getting the 720 going was simply a case of unpacking the unit, plugging everything in and switching on.
The picture is great. Unlike the EX 769 which shows a picture at the same quality standard that recordings in "SP" mode are made in, the 720 shows a broadcast quality picture. The difference is very apparent on a 1080p television! Recorded programs in the default "DR" mode are to the same standard. I cannot comment on the quality of archive recordings, as I have not yet archived anything to a DVD or Blu-Ray
