FULL HD 3D Blu-ray Disc™ Playback
Reproduces all of the image data from Hollywood 3D movie discs - Advanced 2D image technology accumulated over the years at the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory (PHL) has also been applied to 3D image playback, allowing high quality images to approach original film quality. Lifelike 3D images with dramatic leaping effects and enhanced depth, lustre and texture are beautifully reproduced.
2D-3D Conversion
Convert DVD/Blu-ray™ movie images into 3D - The 2D-3D Conversion makes it possible to convert images from DVDs and Blu-ray™ discs into 3D with natural depth perception. So you can watch your prize DVD movie collection in 3D for greater viewing enjoyment. Even more, the AVCHD movie files recorded onto a SD memory card* with HD camcorders can also be converted from 2D to 3D (*Except for 1080/50p movie files recorded with Panasonic HD Camcorder).
3D Effect Controller
Watch movies with the 3D effects you want - The 3D Effect Controller lets you moderate the out-of-screen leaping effects of 3D images. It also lets you adjust the amount of depth, so you can view expansive images and enjoy movies with exactly the kind of 3D effects you want.
Adaptive Chroma Processing
Gives you all the fine details and nuances of the Blu-ray Disc™ - Adaptive Chroma Processing is a high quality image-processing technology developed to precisely process each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc™ video signal in vertical and horizontal directions. Compared with 2010 models, vertical colour data processing has been increased by 1.5 times. This allows Adaptive Chroma Processing to faithfully reproduce colour data.
Full HD Up-Sampling (New P4HD)
Get sharper, clearer images - Full HD Up Sampling also allows standard definition movies on DVD discs to approach Full HD quality. The picture is intelligently analysed to optimise the processing of each pixel, resulting in highly sharpened clear image.

Video on Demand in HD Quality
In a similar way to the full HD up-sampling of standard definition content on DVD, Panasonic 3D Blu-ray players (2011 models) are also able to apply HD up-conversion to streaming content such as the low frame rate video on demand. Super resolution processing optimised for video on demand up-converts all streaming images into HD quality. You get beautiful streaming images even on a large-screen TV.
Easy to use with the Touch-Free Sensor
The 2011 line-up of Panasonic blu-ray products are full of features that make them very simple & easy to use. For example the Touch-Free Sensor on the new 3D blu-ray players - Pass your hand over the sensor to open & close the tray. A built-in sensor on the top panel of BDT310 & BDT210 blu-ray players opens & closes the disc tray as you pass your hand over it. This is very useful when your hands are full or when you’re in a dark room and can’t see the buttons clearly.
