The DMC-FX90 has Wi-Fi® connectivity for sharing images easily. You can send your images to a computer, and enjoy watching images with your family or sharing images with friends around the world. Even in places with no wireless access points (broadband router), by activating the dedicated application and log in the SNS link setup service "LUMIX CLUB" on the smartphone, you can instantly upload photos and videos to image sharing services such as Facebook, and YouTube, etc.

The DMC-FX90 packages a f/2.5 LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMARIT lens with 24mm ultra wide-angle and 5x optical zoom(35mm camera equivalent: 24-120mm). The f/2.5 lens lets the camera shoot at higher shutter speed and capture clear, blur-free images in lower lighting situation. The 24mm wide-angle lens captures approx. 213% larger viewing space compared to a normal 35mm lens. The DMC-FX90 also features the 12.1-megapixel Hi-Speed CCD and the Venus Engine FHD featuring Intelligent Resolution technology and 6.5x Intelligent Zoom are also incorporated.

The DMC-FX90 can record full HD 1920 x 1080 videos in AVCHD format, thanks to Hi-Speed CCD that features higher transfer processing speed. The DMC-FX90 also features high quality sound of Dolby® Digital Creator and a dedicated video button that lets you instantly start recording videos without any having to make any extra settings. The Active Mode comes in handy when shooting while walking or playing with children. The DMC-FX90 can also record full HD video in MP4 format, optimal for viewing or editing on a computer.

With the 3.0-inch, 460,000-dot touch-screen LCD, Auto Focus is immediately set to the subject by just touching it on the LCD and you can even release the shutter. Full touch-screen operation also makes zooming even easier. While playing back, you can create your own albums on the camera. The Beauty Retouch Mode makes it possible to virtually make-up the faces. The Art Retouch Mode makes it easy to retouch color effects to match your intent. You can also send images via Wi-Fi® network by flicking images.

In the iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode, advanced detection functions work automatically and simultaneously to optimize your settings, making it easier than ever to take beautiful images. The fast and accurate Sonic Speed AF enables you to focus on moving subjects, such as when you're shooting sports scenes. Photos taken with the 3D Photo Mode can be viewed in 3D via the 3D Image Viewer of Panasonic VIERA TV offering you a whole new exciting experience.
