Great little camera. (Nice Pic Quality)
I brought the camera as the previous Panasonic died, we had a good run with the earlier model so upgraded to the DMC-SZ1, personal recommendation from the person in the camera shop. In less than a month we blasted 2000 pics thru New Zealand , Australia and the UK and it was Brilliant. Good battery life, Very Clear Pics, Easy to Use (yet to read the manual ), small enough to fit in the pocket, it also has some pretty interesting modes (burst mode etc). I've Found it very very good and would recommended it.I'm busy with 4 kids so can't carry a big digital SLR with me.... This fits the task just right well done Panasonic.
Hint - You may want to purchase a faster memory card if your going to use burst mode on hi-res.
Also the pics are quite big ( in terms of size on your 'MAC' so for casual shots - maybe drop the res - these are not issues with the camera... just suggestions.
