1. Patrol Sensor
Air is monitored both during air conditioner operation and when it is switched off. When dirt is detected, the air purifying function starts up immediately to clean the air in the room. Active e-ions are released to catch and neutralise airborne bacteria and mould.
Detection
The sensor measures the dirt in the air, and above a certain level the air is judged to be dirty.

5. Mild dry
Fine control helps prevent a rapid decrease in room humidity while maintaining the set temperature. Maintains relative humidity up to 10% higher than cooling operation. Ideal when sleeping with the air conditioner on. When the Mild Dry Cooling mode is ON, the flaps direct the airflow downwards to prevent drying of the skin due to a direct breeze.
In a test using an air conditioner, it was confirmed that a reduction of skin moisture in test subjects was suppressed and that there was a reduced feeling of dryness in a high humidity environment compared to a low humidity environment (with a difference in humidity of 10% or more). Thus, when using Mild Dry Cooling, dry skin and symptoms such as sore throats are likely to be alleviated. In addition, redirecting the airflow away from persons further contributes to the prevention of skin moisture loss. Note that the effect differs depending on weather conditions, environment and individual differences.
