If you run out of battery power while away from the charging cradle or in situations where electrical power is unavailable, the WH-103JZ can be powered with any AAA alkaline battery.

* The supplied charging cradle supports only Panasonic rechargeable battery HHR-4AGE which is specifically designed for this model. Do not use the charger with any other type of batteries.
