Thanks to the Panasonic range of high zoom camcorders which have 50x optical zoom and are equipped with Advanced O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabiliser), it is now possible to get close to the action and yet still maintain superb image quality.

The Advanced O.I.S. function, which uses gyro-sensors to detect hand-shake and shifts the lens unit to correctly align the optical axis, has been further enhanced to prevent blur even more effectively. The Advanced O.I.S. checks and compensates for hand-shake around 4,000 times per second. This optical system results in images that are captured in all of their original beauty without any loss of quality. Advanced O.I.S. prevents the subtle blurring that can be caused by even a slight bit of hand-shake, and it is truly necessary in an age of large-screen, high-resolution VIERA TVs, when every image imperfection is easily visible.
